X7 Japanese Tamo (Green) Select Series (3/19)
The new redesigned X7 offers a beautifully ergonomic body with 24” scale, extended access cutaway and full and balanced tone the defies its compact proportions. Some think smaller guitars are good for traveling but we feel they are just as good when sitting at home on your favourite chair.
This X7 Is part of the March 2019 Select Series, A collection of instruments with custom features hand selected each month by Alistair Hay. This guitar features a beautiful Louro Pretto veneer over black carbon back and sides.
All the guitars in this months select series feature Gotoh 510 tuners and the LR-Baggs Element pickup system.

The X7 is our parlour sized guitar and has been designed to offer maximum tonal output in a compact ergonomic package.
The body features a generous 14 1/4” width on the lower bout yet the ergonomic contouring make it feel incredibly comfortable and compact to play. The neck is a 24” scale with 12 frets to the body making the overall neck shorter with less stretch for your left arm while placing the bridge in the perfect tonal sweet spot.
The X7 also features our extended access cutaway design that eliminates the heel and gives thumb access up the back of the neck for the full extent of the generous cutaway.
Whether you are looking for a parlour guitar for playing at home or on stage or a compact guitar for road tough travel the X7 will prove an excellent choice.
This X7 is part of the monthly edition of the Emerald Custom Shop Select Series, a collection of instruments hand-selected by Alistair Hay. It features a Japanese Tamo veneer in green with green carbon back and sides.
The X7 Select Series 3/19 has full gloss finish on all surfaces, Gotoh 510 tuners (18:1 ratio) and comes with an LR Baggs Element Active System™ – VTC pick-up and a custom-padded Emerald Guitars gig bag.
