Inlay Options
A Look at some of our new inlays

Marigold Knot
The Marigold Knot takes inspiration from the knotted rope design on the North side of the stone. The weaving, interconnected lines, which have no clear beginning or end, symbolize eternity and unity in their intricate, overlapping lines.

Marigold Lattice
The Marigold lattice design comes from the South side of the stone which carries a design thought to be inspired by Greek or similar eastern Mediterranean origins.

Unity Knots
The four cornered interlocking knots are inspired by one of the designs on the east face of the stone. Named ‘Unity Knots’ to reflect the four provinces of Ireland, connected together in unity.

Emerald 2025 'Rufus'
You’ll recognise our Celtic hound mascot ‘Rufus’ from the Emerald Guitars logo. Rufus’ original inspiration came from designs found in the ‘Book of Kells’, an ancient Christian manuscript and treasured masterpiece of Irish heritage. Now your fretboard can match your headstock with this beautifully stylised take on our logo

Vines with Roses
Adding to our already beautiful vines inlays is our new Vines with Roses. This new inlay complements the vines which adorn the length of the fretboard with a set of delicate Irish Roses positioned as the fret markers on the fingerboard.

Offset Knots
Our own celtic inspired design, created from a single unbroken line traversing the fretboard, tying a single knot at each of the fret markers with a beautifully simple and understated celtic knot at the 12th fret.

We are excited to offer the new ‘Quilted Carbon’ fretboard option on our instruments in the 3D builder.
This new option brings a striking new, vibrant look to your Emerald with the lustrous quilted appearance on the fretboard that brings 3 dimensional movement to carbon fibre. Now available in the 3D builder.
