We’re delighted to announce a new partnership between Emerald Guitars and TKL Cases, one of the most respected names in guitar case manufacturing.
From 2026 onwards, all new custom X10, X20 and X30 models will ship in a premium Emerald-branded TKL hard shell case — offering outstanding protection, durability, and professional-grade build quality.
Why TKL?
For over 40 years, TKL Cases has supplied hard shell guitar cases to some of the biggest brands in the music industry. Based in Richmond, Virginia, TKL has built a global reputation for reliability, structural integrity, and attention to detail.
Their experience in manufacturing high-quality instrument cases makes them a natural partner for Emerald Guitars, where precision, performance, and long-term durability are central to everything we build.
Just as our carbon-fiber guitars are designed to outperform traditional materials, TKL’s case construction is engineered to protect instruments in real-world conditions — whether travelling internationally, touring, or storing safely at home.
Premium Protection for X10, X20 & X30 Models
All newly ordered custom X10, X20, and X30 guitars will now be delivered in a custom Emerald-branded TKL hard case.
These cases provide:

What About Stock Guitars?
Some guitars purchased from current stock may still ship in our Emerald-branded Hiscox hard cases while remaining inventory lasts.
Both Hiscox and TKL cases offer excellent protection and have served Emerald players well over the years. As we transition fully to TKL for custom (and then stock) builds, customers can continue to expect the same high standard of quality and reliability.
