The slim-bodied Virtuo is ergonomically designed for unparalleled comfort, and sonically crafted for exceptional tone. It’s the acoustic guitar for the electric player. With its slim, fast electric guitar-style neck, and innovative heel-less neck design, the Virtuo gives you full 22-fret access to reach the highest notes with ease.
But it’s the electronics and pickup systems that truly set the Virtuo apart; the variety of tone on offer is what has led to its reputation as a game-changer…
A pair of Fishman Fluence humbuckers give 3 distinct sounds accessible via the push-pull pots on board; classic PAF style humbuckers, modern-sounding ‘hot-rodded’ humbuckers and even single coils. Acoustic tones are provided by the six individual Graph Tech under-saddle acoustic piezos.
We also added a 13-pin midi output system, so you can connect to a guitar synthesizer, such as the Roland GR55, for endless tonal possibilities. All the onboard pickups can be blended together to create a custom range of sounds to suit your taste. All switching and wiring in the Virtuo is fully analogue.
The fully adjustable saddles ensure that any changes to action and intonation are a breeze.

Make your guitar yours with a selection of custom neck inlays. A range of patterns are available, many of which feature Celtic designs, in a nod to Emerald Guitars’ Irish heritage and the rural landscape in which the instruments are crafted.

Virtuo - the best guitar I’ve ever owned
My new virtuo is the best guitar I’ve ever owned. Extremely versatile, easy to play and stays in tune. I’m a full-time musician in Florida and often play outdoors so having a carbon fiber guitar helps to keep the guitar in tune, no matter what the temperature is. I couldn’t be happier with my new guitar. I also have an X-10 acoustic with a humbucker. That guitar is also phenomenal, but the virtuo allows me to bring just one guitar to the job.
