The pinnacle of elegance made possible by Emerald’s innovative one-piece carbon fiber construction. The Kestrel occupies unique territory in the archtop world, offering the rich, unique sound of a traditional electric archtop while still providing a lively acoustic response.

The Kestrel occupies unique territory in the archtop world, offering the rich, unique sound of a traditional electric archtop while providing a lively acoustic response not normally associated with such classic instruments. The pinnacle of elegance made possible by Emerald’s innovative one-piece carbon fiber construction, the Kestrel features an incredibly lightweight ergonomic design with highly sculpted bevels and angled sides for ultimate comfort and playability. Detailed craftsmanship is evident in the classic “f” holes, handmade slotted headstock, and a hand-carved carbon fiber tailpiece that floats virtually unseen above the surface.

The Kestrel is available in 5 different colors as part of our standard artisan collection: black, amber, red, green, and blue. A high-quality top coat is also applied for a smooth, resilient, and vibrant gloss finish.

3. Veneers

Take your Kestrel even further with our Exotic Custom Wood Veneers.

Get the natural beauty of a wood guitar, but the strength and durability of carbon fibre. We offer a wide range of some of the finest exotic wood veneers from around the world. Through a unique molding process of fusing together the wood veneer with the carbon fire in one seamless form, you create an instrument that is truly exceptional and elegantly beautiful.

The Kestrel come standard with a Custom Krivo humbucker with the volume and tone control mounted discreetly in the "f" hole, and Schertler open gear tuners.
