‘The dreadnought, re-imagined’, that’s how we describe our X20 acoustic.
When someone asks you to picture an acoustic guitar, chances are that the dreadnought acoustic is what comes to mind. Originally developed in the early 20th century to give more volume to acoustic guitars, the pinnacle of the design for many came in the first half of the 20th century, with many modern builders still using the same design as their blueprint.
Here at Emerald, however, we thought that the design was due for some more upgrades. The X20 features some unique design elements that we have incorporated in many of our designs over the years to increase comfort, playability and response.
