1. Ownership
Before proceeding with an order, you will be required to show that you have read and understood the following terms and conditions. We recommend that you print a copy of these Terms and Conditions for your future reference.
This website is the property of R & J Hay Ltd. All material on this website is copyright to R & J Hay Ltd, and is provided solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not use this website for any commercial purpose.
2. Products and Pricing
We take every care to ensure that product descriptions are accurate at the time of uploading products to the website. We reserve the right to withdraw any product from the website without any prior notification. We also reserve the right to amend prices of products without prior notification.
Our products are priced in USD and Euro. When paying by credit card this is the amount which will be deducted from your debit or credit card. All Euro prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT.
3D Guitar Builder; Please be advised, performance and visual representation displayed within the Emerald Guitars 3D Guitar Builder are subject to device performance capabilities and overall screen resolution. We recommend running the 3D Guitar Builder in Isolation for optimal results.
3. Ordering Goods
When an order is placed on our website, you will receive a confirmation e-mail confirming we have received your order and it is being processed. You will receive a second email from us acknowledging your order has been dispatched with a tracking number where applicable.
All products are subject to availability. Our display of products on our website is an invitation and not an offer to sell those goods to you. An offer is made when you place the order for your products.
If products that you order are out of stock, subject to a delay or the price is higher than that shown on your order, we will try to contact you at the email address you provided when placing your order. If we cannot contact you or receive no response to our email, we will continue to process any remaining products on your order. We will not supply a replacement product without your authorisation. If you would like to cancel your order please see returns section of our policy.
5. Returns Policy
For those who purchase a stock guitar directly from Emerald Guitars, we know it’s important you have the confidence in knowing that if you find the instrument does not suit you for any reason that you are not stuck with it. You can return a production series stock guitar within 10 days after delivery, for a full refund. The product must be shipped back in the original packaging, in excellent condition, and the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.
Custom-built guitars ordered using our 3D Guitar Builder will be subject to a 20% restocking fee which is calculated from the original amount paid at the time of purchase. Emerald Guitars will cover the cost of shipping back to us and provide a returns label upon request of a return.
If you are pre-ordering a custom-built guitar from us and need to cancel your order, a €200/$200 cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund amount if cancelled after 14 days of the pre-order placement.
Following an inspection of the returned product, an email will be sent confirming receipt. Refunds will be processed in accordance with the terms outlined above and will be returned to the original payment method used within 7-10 business days. Emerald Guitars do not take responsibility for nor will provide reimbursement for any import duties or taxes that may occur prior to receipt of delivery.
