First Impressions of the X20 with Don Baker

In the first of a new series, Emerald Guitars presents First Impressions, we meet legendary singer, songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player Don Baker who gives us his thoughts on the X20 and performs with his collaborator Clara Rose.

Filmed on location in the Balor Arts Centre, Ballybofey, Co Donegal, Ireland, on May 28, 2016 Don gives us his first impressions of the X20 followed by a performance (Creole Belle) and interview alongside Clara Rose.

Not only a top class musician with nearly five decades of experience, Dublin native Don is also a well-known actor, having been part of Ireland’s leading soap opera, Fair City (RTÉ), for over a decade, a notable appearances in movies such as Jim Sheridan’s In The Name Of The Father.

Clara Rose is an Irish female roots/blues artist with a voice that will make the hairs stand on the back of your neck who has been writing and performing her original music for 10 years. She has shared stages with Celtic legends such as Horslips, Henry McCullough, The Waterboys, Eleanor McEvoy, John Spillane, Jack L and more recently collaborated with Don on the album Baker Rose
