The X20 Nylon is a non-traditional nylon acoustic guitar that sits beautifully between the classical and steel-string world. This nylon-string X20 offers warmth, elegance, cutting-edge design, unprecedented playability, and the subtlety of nylon strings.
The 16” fingerboard radius and 1 7/8″ nut provide familiar playability to the steel-string guitarist. The 24-fret neck is joined at the 14th fret. This, combined with a beveled cutaway, provides incredible upper-fret access and playability. The strength and ergonomics of the carbon fiber body ensure the treble strings project with clarity, balance, and power, while still providing exceptional bass response.

Carbon fiber is now used in all the most high tech industries from Aerospace to Formula one Racing where strength and weight is paramount. Standard weave offers a darker pattern, while vibrant weave boasts a brighter, more lively pattern, accentuating a broader array of tones across the available colors.

Emerald Inlay Design
Make your guitar yours with a selection of custom neck inlays. A range of patterns are available, many of which feature Celtic designs, in a nod to Emerald Guitars’ Irish heritage and the rural landscape in which the instruments are crafted.
You can also customize a message on the 12th fret, adding an extra layer of personalization to your dream guitar, making it uniquely yours.

X20 Nylon - X20-Nylon is perfect
The detail and finish of this X20-Nylon is perfect… haven’t seen a single place on the guitar that shows any carbon-fiber fabric edges, stray fibers, gaps or flaws in the top coat. The action & playability of the next is excellent, as is the tone of each string. The sustain of the strings is far better than I imagined possible for a nylon-stringed guitar. The tone of the two pickups when plugged in sound excellent, and complement each other well. Thanks, Emerald!! Love it!! I had high expectations because of the X20-7 I purchased a year ago, and this X20-Nylon easily et or exceeded every expectation !
