Spreading the Christmas Spirit LK and raising funds for charity

We were delighted to be asked to support the Christmas Spirit LK fundraising initiative here in our native Donegal which is raising much-needed funds for two very important charities.

Christmas Spirit LK was set up in Letterkenny by a group of friends from the entertainment industry who got together to raise much-needed funds for charities at Christmas time. 

Everyone involved in this project gives their time and talent for free with all funds raised going directly to Donegal Hospice and Pieta House.

This year the group recorded the Annie Lennox & Al Green hit Put A Little Love In Your Heart and invited lots of local business to get involved in the recording of the video and by spreading a bit of Christmas Spirit encouraging the public to make a small donation to the initiative. The campaign is supported by well-known figures including former Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given, broadcaster Fergal D’Arcy,  ‘Golden Boy’ pro boxer Jason Quigley, and singer songwriters Mickey Joe Harte and Declan O’Rourke.

We would like to congratulate and thank Pete, all the musicians and everyone else who worked on this project. It was an honour for us to play a small part.
